How it works

After registering with Paypal, purchases may then be made on any site using it as a payment medium. To be sure of security it is important to understand how it works. Everything to do with the payment itself is handled by PayPal and the payment is credited to the site's PayPal account.

None of the payment details (apart from the amount paid) are sent to the host site, which only receives an Email from PayPal with the name and address of the person purchasing the item and how much they have paid. The site can then forward the item to the purchaser.
